“Say you’ll remember me…”
Say you’ll remember me standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe. Red lips and rosy cheeks. Say you’ll see me again even if it’s just in your wildest dreams.
You held your pride like you should’ve held me
It’s not about having the coolest friends or the most friends, it’s about having the right friends. True friends. Realizing that is one of the most important lessons I’ve ever learned.
You are not the opinion of someone who doesn’t know you.
It’s not that I want to end this, I just want to pause it and never press play again. I want this moment to linger forever. I want your last memory of me to be right now: red dress, golden hair. Eyes as clear blue as the sky above, with a laugh that echoes, void of any care in the world. I want this to be the last chapter of my story, that way I will know for sure it has a happy ending. I don’t want to risk turning the page and discovering there’s a tragedy waiting for me. I don’t want to fade out and be forgotten; I don’t want to die the old-fashioned way. Right now I am happy, and this is how I want to stay.
If your hair is done and you’re wearing good shoes you can get away with anything.
I wish i actually wore the fashion taste i have
I wish I could afford the fashion taste I have
I wish I had the body for the fashion taste I have
all of the above
I don’t dress up for boys.I dress up to stare at my reflection as I walk by store windows.
